| We the undersigned the Captain and principal Officers of the American Privateer Brig Rambler voluntary make oath that the above eighty eight names the true List and numbers of the Crew of the said Brig actually serving on board her at the moment of her Capture by His Britannic Majesty's Ship Thais, Edward Scobell Esq. Captain on the thirty-first day of March 1813 the Rambler having sailed from America the 28th of January 1813 and at the time of capture was cruizing under Commission from the United States of America, for the annoyance and destruction of the Trade of Great Britain SWORN before me Robert Purdir Esq Commissioner of the Court of Vice Admiralty for the Colony of Sierra Leone and Justice of the Peace in and for the said Colony at Freetown in the said Colony this 21st Day of April 1813 |
